Ajman Finance Achieves Global Certification in Institutional Innovation

The Department of Finance (DFO) in Ajman has achieved a qualitative global achievement by receiving the "Innovative Government Institution - Three Stars" certificate issued by the Global Innovation Institute, in a step that reflects its commitment to adopting the best international practices in institutional excellence and innovation and enhancing the emirate's position among the leading governments regionally and globally in the field of government innovation.

The crowning came in recognition of the Department's application of advanced methodologies in managing innovation within its various processes and services, reflecting the level of maturity of its institutional practices, and its keenness to apply global frameworks that contribute to the development and sustainability of performance.

This certificate embodies the Department's adoption of an integrated governance framework that ensures the alignment of innovation with its strategic directions, in addition to the application of innovation tools and methodologies, in order to enhance the continuity of development in accordance with the highest international standards.

H.E. Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, stressed that this achievement reflects the Department's orientation towards adopting innovation as a basic approach in the development of government financial work, noting that the certificate represents the fruit of continuous institutional efforts aimed at establishing a government financial system based on innovation and sustainability.

He expressed his pride and pride in this international recognition, which confirms the Department's commitment to adopting the best practices in the field of institutional innovation, and enhances its efforts to improve the level of efficiency of financial resources management, raise the quality of services provided, and support the transformation towards a more advanced and proactive government model, which leads to supporting economic competitiveness and achieving government leadership through flexibility, innovation, efficiency and focus on results, in line with the directions of Ajman Vision 2030.

He explained that the Department's achievement of the "Three Stars" rating represents an important milestone in its journey towards institutional excellence, and constitutes a motivation to continue investing in the development of innovative capabilities and enhancing integration with various government entities, in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable added value for customers and the community and supports the comprehensive development process in the Emirate of Ajman and the UAE, praising the efforts of the Department's cadres and work teams that contributed to achieving this achievement.

For his part, Abdulrahman Saeed Qasem, Director of the Strategy and Project Management Office, stressed that this accreditation reflects the integration of the innovation system in the Department, by linking it to strategic objectives and applying clear methodologies that achieve tangible and measurable results.

He added that this achievement is a testament to the Department's success in developing a work environment that stimulates innovation, based on institutional foundations that ensure sustainability, enhance efficiency in various fields of government work, and support data-based decision-making, stressing that the Department will continue to work on developing tools and solutions that keep pace with the aspirations of the Government of Ajman towards leadership and excellence.

This achievement comes as an extension of the Department's journey in adopting the best international practices, and complementing what it has previously achieved by obtaining the ISO 56002:2019 certificate for the Innovation Management System, which established an advanced institutional framework that contributed to consolidating the culture of innovation and renewed thinking, and promoting a work environment that stimulates creativity and generating ideas, which is reflected in raising the efficiency of performance and the sustainability of development within the government financial work system.
