Cooperation between "Dubai South" and "Emirates NBD Dubai" to Support the Business Community
Dubai South has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emirates NBD Dubai, aimed at supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within Dubai South and facilitating their access to a comprehensive suite of banking services.
The MoU was signed by Saif Al Ali, Director of Licensing and Free Zone Administration at Dubai Aviation City Corporation, and Hamad Mohammed Zayed, Group Head of Business Banking at Emirates NBD.
Under this MoU, the bank will support companies by streamlining corporate bank account opening procedures, in addition to providing banking solutions specifically designed to meet business needs. This will contribute to enhancing corporate readiness and enabling companies to focus on growth and expansion.
Nabil Al Kindi, Executive Director of Dubai South, stated that the strategic partnership with Emirates NBD Dubai reflects a commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and SMEs in Dubai South by providing an integrated ecosystem that empowers them to grow, enhances their operational efficiency, and supports the long-term sustainability of their businesses.
He added that by facilitating access to essential banking services, Dubai South grants its business community greater capacity to focus on expansion and achieving their objectives.
For his part, Hamad Mohammed Zayed affirmed the bank's commitment to delivering a banking experience that meets the needs of SMEs and other companies operating in Dubai South, and keeps pace with their evolving requirements. He noted that this partnership ultimately contributes directly to realizing Dubai's vision of doubling its economy by 2033 and solidifying its position as one of the top three economic cities globally.
