Mizuho, Asset Management One, and SPARX Asset Management to collaborate on asset management business
Mizuho Financial Group, Inc., Asset Management One Co., Ltd., and SPARX Asset Management Co., Ltd. (“SPARX AM”), a subsidiary of SPARX Group Co., Ltd., have entered into a collaborative agreement with the aim to further develop asset management business in Japan and enhance their respective investment management capabilities.
Based on this agreement, the three firms will provide Japanese investors with value added investment management services and products.
SPARX AM has leveraged its investment philosophy, cultivated over a number of years, and its expertise in Japanese equities to generate favorable results in managing non Japanese, primarily Asian, equities, and in 2025 it launched a new Indian equity investment strategy. Asset Management One offers a wide range of investment management services, in areas from traditional assets to alternative investments, to a broad spectrum of investors. Mizuho has provided seed capital for SPARX AM’s Indian equity investments, and through these investments SPARX AM and Asset Management One will share their respective expertise and strengths and enhance their investment management capabilities.
Going forward, the three firms will deepen and expand their collaboration under the agreement with activities such as joint development and distribution of new investment products, as well as personnel exchanges. By making available superior investment opportunities, they will support their customers’ long-term wealth creation and positively contribute to establishing Japan as a leading asset management center.
