2026 Zhongguancun Forum Set to Showcase Deep Integration of Technology and Industry
The 2026 Zhongguancun (ZGC) Forum will take place in Beijing from March 25 to 29, bringing together government agencies, academic institutions, and industry leaders to explore the intersection of technological and industrial innovation.
Jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the Beijing Municipal Government, the forum has evolved into a global platform for high-level innovation collaboration since its founding in 2007. Its permanent theme remains “Innovation and Development.”
The 2026 forum, themed “Full Integration Between Technological and Industrial Innovation,” is structured around five key components:
