Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) has officially launched six integrated common-use platforms along Rocket Avenue, aiming to strengthen China's commercial aerospace ecosystem and enhance its international competitiveness. These platforms include a Commercial Space Flight Measurement, Control and Operation Center, a common-use testing platform, a public service platform, a one-stop service platform for aerospace components, a spatiotemporal information platform, and a space situational awareness service platform. Together, they form a comprehensive infrastructure supporting innovation, production, and global collaboration.

The initiative targets key bottlenecks in the commercial aerospace sector, combining the capabilities of leading domestic institutions to reduce research and development costs, shorten development cycles, and improve operational safety. By addressing these constraints in a coordinated manner, Rocket Avenue is positioning itself as both a national innovation hub and an international gateway for commercial space enterprises.

The newly inaugurated Commercial Space Flight Measurement, Control and Operation Center, housed within the Rocket Avenue display and control facility, will integrate artificial intelligence to provide unified satellite mission planning, resource scheduling, and real-time operational monitoring. In addition, it will serve as a public service platform showcasing China's commercial aerospace innovations, hosting exhibitions, roadshows, and international collaboration events. This dual role ensures that enterprises not only gain technical support but also a venue to engage with global partners.

The other platforms complement this effort: the common-use testing facilities provide end-to-end experimental services for satellite and spacecraft development; the one-stop component support platform integrates component databases and digital models, removing information barriers and enabling full lifecycle quality management; the spatiotemporal information service platform consolidates multi-satellite remote sensing data, linking resource supply directly to industrial demand; and the space situational awareness platform delivers real-time orbital monitoring and traffic management, enhancing operational safety for commercial constellations.

Construction is advancing rapidly across Rocket Avenue, which is emerging as the core of China's commercial aerospace cluster. Leveraging technological, industrial, policy, and ecological advantages, the BDA aims to accelerate innovation, promote global-standard competitiveness, and build an integrated aerospace ecosystem with thousands of enterprises, extensive satellite deployments, and hundreds of billions in industrial revenue. Through these efforts, Beijing Rocket Avenue is poised to become a globally influential hub for commercial aerospace, driving both domestic innovation and international collaboration.
