Cambodia’s Trade with RCEP Countries Rises in First 11 Months of 2025
Cambodia exported goods worth US$8.85 billion to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) countries in the first 11 months of 2025, an increase of 5.99 percent from US$8.35 billion recorded during the same period last year, according to a report released by the Ministry of Commerce.
Exports to RCEP member countries accounted for 31.2 percent of Cambodia’s total exports, which reached US$28.37 billion during the period, the report stated.
From January to November 2025, Cambodia imported US$27.54 billion worth of goods from RCEP countries, marking a 19.17 percent increase from US$23.11 billion in the same period last year.
As a result, Cambodia’s total trade with RCEP countries reached US$36.39 billion, up 15.67 percent year-on-year, accounting for 61.53 percent of the Kingdom’s total international trade volume of US$59.13 billion.
These figures highlight Cambodia’s deepening integration into the regional free trade bloc, said H.E. Penn Sovicheat, Secretary of State and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce.
“The RCEP agreement plays an important role in Cambodia’s economic development by ensuring long-term export growth for Cambodian products within member states,” he stated.
The RCEP agreement, which entered into force on Jan. 1, 2022, comprises 15 Asia-Pacific countries, including ten Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and five of their key trading partners: China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.
